Unhappy I may have a BIG problem with NX2kRidah

I had to post this in general so more people see it rather than the buyer/seller section becase this is sort of alot of money.

I sent member NX2kRidah (Josh Vazquez from Tampa, Florida) $610 for JWT C3 cams about a month ago from an ad he placed in the For Sale/Wanted to Buy forum here.

I still haven't gotten anything. He says he sent the C3 cams through USPS ground mail 2 weeks ago, and they they said "it will take up to 3 weeks." I asked Ben and Eric and they said that is bullsh*t and it shouldn't take more than a week at most.

After hearing that I just called him at his house and talked to him.

Me: When did you send the C3 cams?
Him: 2 weeks ago.
Me: Do you have a receipt?
Him: Yes but it's in my car.
Me: Can you get it?
Him: My cars in the shop.
Me: Ok, well let me verify my shipping address.
Him: Nazareth PA, zipcode 10864
Me: My zipcode is 18064.
Him: Well thats how you sent me it with the money.
Me: No thats impossible, I sent you a return address label so theres no way I gave you wrong zipcode.
Him: I must have copied it wrong then, it shouldn't matter.

WTF? I just checked online and 10864 isn't even a real zipcode. When you send something at the Post Office they type in the zipcode and give you the price of how much it costs. If 10864 isn't a real zipcode surely the employee would have noticed and said something.

I don't want to accuse him yet but he might be just saying this to make it sound like the package is lost in the mail.

Either way, I'm out of $600 and I have no C3 cams here.
He just said on the phone they should come tommorow and I'm calling him again if they don't.

What should I do?

Okay this is coming from my father...he's a Postmaster...
Anyway, if it is a bogus zip code the postal service would have sent the package back to him...no way it would go farther than that. Believe it or not the post office scans each and every letter, package, etc. with a computer, and by hand. If he did rape you on these this is considered mail fraud...I cant remember what class my pops said it was. If you dont get word from him, contact your states atourney<---? the police and the postal service. Regardless if he is or is not screwing you there will be a investigation launched, and this problem WILL be rectified. Just hang in there man you will get whats right. Good luck Storm...

Jordan, did you take a look at the suggestions Grover Pickering came up with when there was an issue with a guy on the Classifieds site? Check here http://www.sr20deforum.com/showthrea...threadid=17805

Give it some time because this guy's not going to want to take multiple felonies for $600. Regardless, if he screwed up the order and it doesn't get returned to either of you, it's his loss not yours and he'll owe you that money back.

Did you pay for insurance on the item? If so, get a copy of his receipt.

Thanks for the replies.

Although there still is a chance he is being honest, I'm not too hopeful anymore. I don't want to accuse him but it really is looking bad right now.

Terrin you're right, I took a chance that it was too good to be true. I just hope I don't have to pay for it.

I am hardly working these days and going through and paying for college, so losing $600 will really hit me hard. At least if I actually got what I paid for with my money I could have sold them if worse came to worse.

There was no insurance as far as I know on the package, but he probably never sent it anyway.

If the C3 cams do not get here by Friday I will be taking legal action. Thanks Chris for that link again. I will be exploring all options I can take.

Also, I know some people in Tampa....

Question

Not to be accusing you of anything, but didn't you just have some C3 cams w/retainers for sale on Ebay? (jordan@whitelineracing was the email, I'm guessing thats you) The sale just ended on the 7th. Why would you buy a set, if you already had a set??
Just wondering?

Chris

Theres nothing to accuse.

I assumed I was dealing with an honest person and listed them for sale on eBay expecting them to be in my hands a good 3-4 days before the auction ended.

I don't want to get too off the topic of this thread, but while I *thought* they were en route to my house I decided to sell them because I'm having some tranny issues in my car.

Since they never came (or haven't come yet) I wasted my $5 to list it on eBay. I guess I should have waited till they were in my hands, but who could have seen this coming.

Jordan,
I hope that you get your issues resolved, w/either getting your money back or cams, whatever.
But, lets be HONEST here Tranny issues , IMO you were looking for a profit-buy it cheap, sell it for more. Nothing wrong w/it, everybody looks for that sweet deal.
I just had to post b/c I feel bad for the person if you did get those cams and sold them to him/her w/a description of "new"-and you never seen them before.

I smelled a rat several weeks back when NX2KRidah started shooting his mouth off on this forum. If it turns out he burned you let me know. I have a good friend in Tampa that would be more than willing to pay this punk a visit. Just say the word.

Honestly, yes, I think 3rd gear is broken. It grinds on average 3 out of 5 times I put it into 3rd.

Well it's possible that with the wrong zipcode it would get lost somewhere, or get backed up somewhere. One time I sent something to my ex, and I had the zip code wrong (switched numbers like you said) and it took much longer to get there than it should've. Well it took maybe a week longer, but with an invalid zip code who knows. If he can show you the receipt then that would be better, but maybe he is a good for nothing troll

Oh and like somebody said above, ripping people off like that, using the USPS is a federal crime and I believe you have options in pursueing justice just in case he did lie.

Jose...
