I have a big problem with storm88000

it seems like this guy is pulling the same exact thing as his buddy NX2KRIDAH. i saw his auction on ebay for the C3 cams and we initiated a deal outside of ebay since the auction ended unsuccessfully. A few days later, i found post here on SR20DEFORUM.com..."i may have a problem with nx2kridah". Jordan(storm88000) doesnt even have the camshafts in his possesion and doesnt even know for sure if he will have it! He admits of no wrong doing even though he auctions it off on ebay and proceeds to make me a deal for the cams. Selling a product on ebay is a legal contract, and if someone did win your auction, but yet you cannot fulfill the deal, you broke the contract rules! i asked his several times via email or instant messaging if he still has the cams and if heres willing to make me an offer. heres some one his replys...

I assume $850 shipped would be OK for the JWT C3's. Shipping is probably going to cost $30 from Pennsylvania to there, they are pretty heavy. Although I would be taking over $300 loss, but I can deal with that. Let me know.

OMG, Slipper! Did you NOT understand me when I said "i'll let you know" about the deal you wouldn't shutup about?

Slipper IM's me every other day and starts rambling on about trading me stuff and money for the C3 cams so to get him to shutup I said "i'll let you know" because I still don't know if I'm getting anything or not. I don't understand why he is so distraught over this and felt like making a stupid post, nothing has been sold and no money has been exchanged. Obviously he has some issues to go doing this.

Vendors and businesses always give you a price THEY WOULD WANT when the stuff comes in. You place an order and sometimes pay early while they get the item shipped to themselves and then ship it to you. This is really no different except I never got anything so nothing was sold. End of story and anymore about this totally ridiculous.

Unfortunately, eBay allows sellers to not fulfill their obligations to auction winners. They are not obligated to sell the item on the auction if they feel they did not get enough for it at end of auction. Or they can just say "Fu&^ it!, I don't want to sell anymore".

Trust me, I already contacted eBay numerous times in regards to this on another eBayer who would pull used parts, then decide that the price was not high enough and never sell the items to the winning bidders. This happened several occasions with the sam eBayer.

Here is where it's not the end of the story. You never had the cams, you told slipper you were taking a $300 loss, and he provied proof of your claims. Care to explain that to the rest of the forum members? How would you be taking a $300 loss on something you were paying $600 for and did not even have yet. I do not think that you are looking very responsible or honest right now. And for you to get so irate and pissed off about slipper and start name bashing? That is odd and just wrong. I think he has just exposed you for who you are in a proper and straight forward manner.

Sorry dude, but you've just been had. And the worst part about it is I still actually feel bad that you might have gotten screwed by another member over $600. Hope that you either get the cams or the money. Better think next time before you try to act like this:

Stormy can BS all he wants about how much he is "losing" on the deal or whatnot, point is you can't bitch at someone similar to how Stormy is bitching about NX2KRidah because he paid him $600 and the goods were not delivered. No transaction or shipping has taken place so there's nothing you can do besides complain that you don't have your stupid cheap C3s yet.

I can say whatever I want to say as long as I don't rip anyone off. So I bought something for $600, thats worth $900, I could sell them for $900 somewhere else. Do I not have the right to sell what I own at whatever price I want? If someone pays for it then so what? I didn't lie to anyone.

You may have forgotten that:

1. No money was ever exchanged

2. No money was ever exchanged

3. No money was ever exchangd

4. I just lost $600 so cut me a break. I question this slipper guy now for really being a jerk at the wrong time.

This decision to buy these C3 cams is starting to become the worst decision of my life.

Don't be so hard on the guy. Look, he (thought he) got an insane deal on a set of cams. He was told they were brand new and unused. He sent the guy the money, and had no reason to believe that he wouldn't have them in a couple of days.

So he bought the cams at half price, and tried to make a couple hundred on them, and still sell them cheap. He probably had a change of heart since he can't seem to decide what the hell he wants to do with his car, nothing wrong there.

If you've been on the Forum and subscribe to the SE-R Classifieds you would have known that he bought them for $600. Hell, I emailed Jordan on behalf of a friend as soon as I swa that he bought them, I tried to set up a deal between them, but they couldn't come to an agreement on price, and it didn't work out. You would also know that he posted a message about his transmission going bad, and that some time last year he sold off most of the aftermarket parts off his car, and was thinking about buying a Miata.

There's nothing wrong with reselling them for a higher price. Hell, at $850 it's a good deal for everyone. The only thing I have a problem with is him saying that he's taking a loss on them. That's not cool, but it has nothing to do with what his intentions were, which was to sell you what he had every reason to believe were brand new cams which were on the way to him. Dude, he wasn't trying to rip you off, did he take your money?

Sorry jordan. It was there. But as I said before I do hope that things work out for you and your not stuck with $600 less than you had over 2 weeks ago. That sucks!

If I sold $1200 cams for $850 I would be taking close to a $300 loss. Sure it was a white lie, but I know I could get $1000 for them (that would be if I actually had them

I'm sorry Slipper for telling a white lie, but I never intended to rip you off! You would have been getting $1200 cams for $850. I've been here too long to do anything like that and it's just not worth it. All I am guilty for is embellishing.

My feelings are the same, if you get a super deal and pass it along to someone else and make something, who cares what you tell them....

When a car dealer tells you they are selling you a car at invoice - if you believe them thats your loss.

Had Storm taken money before having the cams, now maybe I'd see a reason to be mad, but hey he's doing what everyone here does to make money - sell at a profit!

My sis's boyfriend knew what I had in his NX, I bought it with a blown motor cheap, paid to have it towed here, and I bought and replaced the motor - something he didn't have the cash to do, a place won't loan money on a car with a blown motor and parts! So when all was said and done, he bought the car from me (at a damn good deal, I still wish I'd have kept it) and I made a decent amount, only difference from the norm was that he knew what I had in the car....

Life goes on.

Storm, I hope you get your money back - I've had a run of bad luck with things like this before and it just plain sucks.
