Thumbs down Matty Moto

well i dont know how he is with his selling of parts, but i know his buying of parts is horrible... im trying to settle everything with this man, but this guy is being a little kid about everything...i sold him a cluster, and he sent it back to me and it was riged...and i swear he did it...i did set myself up, but not putting insurance on it but something happend...and he sent it back saying it was messed up when he received it...and i told him i wont send him his money back, but i will ship him a new cluster, with insurance and everything, and he does not want to do it...but im deffinately not giving him his money back, im sorry if im in the wrong, but i just cant see myself sending him this money, when i truly honestly believe he bought my cluster, took parts off it that was needed, and shipped it back expecting money back, im sorry, but im not a clown and im not going to be fooled like that

Hmm,
I sold him some NX brakes. He paid fast, and he called me to let me know they arrived in good shape. He also thanked me for my good packaging job(which was overkill)

He also helped me locate some parts I was looking for.
Sorry to hear this happened to you,and hopeflly you guys will work this out.

Thanks for the heads up Eggman.

Well I guess the letter from the postal worker I offered will now be forth coming to you and Chris Car. The US Post Office is the one who told me the way the package was wrapped was a disgrace. You rolled it in a flattened shoe box and taped it like a fat joint with the ends open and the top white screw plate of the filthy gage console broken, loose inside the package.

Funny, even though I paid for insurance and a proper package, you failed to use a slightly over-sized box and instead shipped it super cheap without any protection, padding or stuffing, whatsoever. Nice work. Not what I paid for, was it?

Once I opened the cardboard joint, to see what the noise was rolling around in the crushed box, I also found, in front of the US Post Office worker, the gages were pinned behind the stops. The blue buttons protecting the gage adjustments on the back of the unit were missing and the major mounting tab was busted completely off.

When I emailed you about the deal you stated your children were hungry and said you would never refund my money. Then you were caught, within the same day posting about your interest in purchasing a $4,000.00 car. I have these posts documented and sent them to Chriscar, for the record. I actually was concerned about your children, until I read about that. Had no reason to think otherwise, did I?

After writing Chris and offering to take another traded part for three months, you finally asked Chris not to throw you off the site, last week, if you sent me another dash cluster. Naturally, I wanted my money, instead, as the car is done.

Now you flame me, after I have refrained from being rude or asking for anything except my money back, even though I'm now out $70.00 for a broken dash gage, shipping and insurance both ways, (which you pocketed the first go round and I made sure was paid for the return trip).

Ironically, you could have asked me to file the insurance claim for the returned part I sent you back three months ago, but I guess your not able to answer your emails or maybe you just not that smart.

Yah, it's all my fault! I need to rip your broken gages apart for fun, while I built an entire car, bought two more and paid for fifteen different sales not on my rating, since your debacle.

You had to go here and open up your mouth after I just emailed you "it's O.K. to send me gages I don't need", in order to end this crap and keep the peace, at Chriscar's request?

Why don't you just keep your broken gages and my money, sir.
I'll gladly write your fine services off as a learning experience.

Thanks for giving me this opportunity to express the facts.
Personally, I was not going to bring it up again, after Chris asked me to take the good set of replacement gages and call it quits.

I have previously changed anything sourly written about this transaction in order to be polite, after one of your friends said he would ask you to email me and patch up the deal. Ask the moderator.

Your quality exudes itself, sir.

Here's a link to your sale page, from MAY 5, 2007.

http://www.sr20forum.com/electronics...e-cluster.html

Please notice the picture showing the broken gages!
I would think you took these before you shipped it right?

I expected it was a WORKING GAGE SET, for $40 bucks plus shipping, not junk.

Have a nice day.

I'm not taking sides here, but is this the ad that you purchased the cluster off of, and if so, why did you want to buy a busted gauge cluster?

It was broken in several other ways by the time it arrived.

Why wouldn't he just come out and say it was broken? Wouldn't you Jeff?

Or are you one of those guys who lies about something on ebay to move your trash?
I didn't have photo goggles on so I could see that it might be broke. I wouldn't have expected that from a forum member with any class.

Do you think it's OK to sell broken parts with a picture?

Thanks for pointing out your style Jeff. I know not to sell or buy from you either.

Who, in their right mind would sell broken parts? Pic or no pic?

Just a few observations for you to consider. I don't care if I am breaking the rules, I have never dealt with either of you two gentlemen. However, I see your squabble everytime I check this section.

Where the fu*k is your proof of Matty Moto's wrongdoing? You "swear he did it"?!? After you apparently packed the item like unadulterated sh*t, and sent it out, then it came back to you? You are fu*king nuts, with some paranoid delusional theory of wrongdoing with ZERO proof. You packed it like sh*t, it made a trip out and back, and now you claim he "stole some parts off the cluster"?!? For what? To save a few dollars on some guage cluster parts?

What possible motivation could he have?

You are in the wrong. You know it, your statement makes that clear. You stating that you are "sorry if you are wrong" is as much as admitting so.

You "truly honestly believe" that he ripped you off for a handful of guage cluster parts? Based on what pray tell? His past purchasing/selling behaviors? No, those indicate that Matty Moto is a stand-up guy. Based on....your "gut feelings" and what you "think" may have happened at a Post Office a thousand miles away from you?

Judging from the way you packed the item, those alleged parts may have fallen out of your inept packaging job.

You are indeed a clown of the highest order. You accuse someone of wrongdoing without a single shred of proof whatsoever. NONE. Just your paranoid and stupid suppositions, accusations, and leaps in logic.

After reading both of these threads, I know whom I shall do business with, and whom I should avoid.

Have a great day.

Hey, don't take this out on me. Of course I wouldn't sell broken parts, and if I did it would definitely be made clear that they were broken. Likewise, I wouldn't buy a part that was obviously broken, and if I was you can be certain that I would have a few questions about the condition, ie extent of the damage. sh*t, look at the temp gauge, there's clearly something wrong with it, you even admit that when you say "Please notice the picture showing the broken gauges!"

Like I previously stated, I'm not taking sides here. As far as not buying something from me, so be it. I have a flawless trader rating, with close to 40 positive transactions. I think that should say something as far as my integrity concerning what I sell.

But this thread isn't about me. It's about you purchasing something that clearly had a problem and someone doing a sh*t packing job when sending you the already damaged item. I'm not saying you situation doesn't suck, but you saw the condition of the thing before he sent it. Everything else that happened in transit is on him, or the shipping company. I'm leaning towards it being on him if he did a half assed job packing the item.
