Can anyone vouch for Peter Fung aka boyrspec?

This is related to the following thread:
http://www.sr20forum.com/suspension-...-ready-go.html

Here is the timeline for the mounts that I have not yet received:
10-10-2007 I sent him $225 via paypal.
10-22 I sent a pm asking if the mounts had been shipped, and looking for a tracking number if they had.
10-24 He replied via pm they had been sent via USPS and he would check the status.
10-25 I asked for the USPS tracking number via pm.
10-29 I sent another pm to find out if there was any news from the post office.
11-2 He replied via pm saying the post office has declared the package missing. He says he has a second set of JWT mounts and will ship them via UPS.
11-3 I reply thanking him and asking him to send me the new tracking number once the package goes out.
11-13 I ask for the new tracking number via pm.

It is now 11-20 and it has been 6 weeks since payment has been made. It has been over 2 weeks since the second package was supposed to have been sent. I have yet to receive any tracking numbers on either package.

Can anyone on the forum vouch for this guy? If not, I'm going to open a dispute with paypal and get my money back. I'm all for being resonable, and I consider myself to be a very patient man, but I think this is getting close to the point of being a scam.

Joe

does open dispute through paypal even work? because i did once when i got screwed by this one guy selling me a jwt clutch set for 200 bucks. bought it on ebay, but paid outside of ebay. opened a dispute through paypal, it came to my favor because he wasn't responding, but i got nothing back because "he had insufficient funds in his account". supposidly they will let me know if anything comes up, but nothing. i even told paypal that the guy is still selling sh*t on ebay, and they sent me all this sh*t about, "here are a few ways to protect yourself on ebay." so i basically lost 200 bucks. hope yours turn out well, and let me know what you did. thanks.

Everytime Ive had to pen a paypal dispute, theyve taken care of it and gotten my money back.

The problem is anyone who's a scammer isn't going to leave money in their PayPal account. No money in the account, means PayPal isn't going to do diddly for you.

I open a claim with both paypal and my bank...My bank deposits the funds I am disputing into my account. If the charges are proven to be fraudulent (which they usually are) then funds remain. If not, YOINK! Paypal initiates the paper trail though...GL

This is why I use a credit card... most companies, at least the ones I deal with, have buyer protection. Just means I don't lose a thing if I get screwed. I learned this when I bought bad parts from a former forum member.

Someone look this guy up. Joe is one of the most easy going guys I know. For him to make this thread there must be ZERO communication. Someone help my bud out.

Mounts finally arrived today - rusty, beat up old mounts. I tried to send a pm, but your box is full. Please contact me asap regarding some compensation as I paid for new but got nothing of the sort.
