Thumbs down  twistedmindz

i bought a greddy 18g from twistedmindz, and was guaranteed the product to work...it was described as little shaft play and only 3500 miles on it...when item was received, it was received in just a box and nothing else in it. no support or cushion....but once i took the turbo out the box it had significant shaft play. it wasnt described as told...so i called him and told him that the turbo had more shaft play than expected....and i asked him if i should just send it back or if i should try it...he told me to try it because the shop he took it too said that it was 100% guaranteed to work, and i was like alright, and i told him if it blows will u take it back and give me my money back and said YES to it...also i traded him a nismo fpr and megan racing gauge, that he already sold...so i konw i basically just got fu*king screwed over from this guy, *** he hasnt answered any of my calls or emails. he has just been ignoring me. i took it through paypal and they said that they couldnt do anything since it wasnt done through ebay or some sh*t like that.alright back to the story...so the turbo was installed after a couple of mods to make it clear the block and less than one hour of driving time and the turbo blew up...and yes it was getting oil through it and the coolant lines were ran...what what do yall think? i basically got a product that was guaranteed to work and only worked for less than an hour!!!!!! and he never stood behind his damn words...

Really sucks, but I wouldn't have installed the turbine, even though he said that he'd honor it if it blew. I would have demanded my money and parts back, and returned the turbine after the money and parts were returned.

paypal sucks when it comes to getting money back... only reason why i like paypal is because it is fast and convenient.

All a case of a bad discription. tisk tisk. Im starting to be afraid to buy here. Sellers just dont give a sh*t. They think theyre doing buyers a service by posting parts for sale. How backwards is that?

Sucks to hear about the blown turbo, but this is the risk and unfortunate price you pay when purchasing wear items like turbos/clutches/etc. Trying to save money initially almost always ends up biting people in the butt in the end....

FWIW: Shaft play is such a subjective thing, and some people don't even know the difference between a 'little' and 'a lot'. All turbos will have a 'little' bit of shaft play, even when new!

yea i understand that, but thats not what im talking about...and yea every turbo has shaft play but holy crap this thing had shaft play like a mothafuka and he said its stock play...and its just the point of someone staying behind in what they say and not bullsh*t...yea thats why im going to end up buying mostly everthing new now...lol..damn its too much damn money, but worth it...thanx for the support man

It is not over 45 days, Paypal will refund.

I am having trouble understanding why they will not refund. That eBay non-sense is weak.
Paypal has a clear-cut 45 day refund policy.

AFTER 45 days, you can file a claim with your bank's credit card company who will force the claim against Paypal and then they will be forced to reclaim the money from the seller... and they will get it; even if they attach it from his account directly.

Just had to file with Visa because a claim about similar circumstances with Paypal was over 45 days. (The seller waited until after 30 to ship and offered return for refund which took over two weeks FOR HIM TO REFUSE THE RETURN). When he refused the return, it went over 45 days.

Unless your claim is over 45 days, Paypal will return your merchandise.

Raise hell with them and they will refund, especially if it was within 30 days.
Stay patient and call them back about your rights as a buyer.

Selling junk as good parts is wrong.
