Purchased JGY 6 Puck Clutch Kit and 8 Lb. Flywheel:
http://www.sr20forum.com/naturally-a...-flywheel.html

1/6/08 Sent Payment to Trent

1/8/08 Message from Trent:
Wallace I would like to apologise to you. Apparently my brother has used the clutch in his car. Can I give you a refund. There is still the 8lb flywheel. I can give you 200 back and ship the flywheel to you? Let me know man and I am so sorry!!! I really didn't mean to do this to you!!

1/8/08 Message to Trent:

Trent,

I would like a full refund. Don't need the flywheel.

Thanks,
Wallace

1/10/08 Message from Trent:
Well the money is on its way back to paypal today. I have to do it through my bank account as of I don't have a card online! i am so sorry! I really am. Sorry for the inconvience and I will keep you updated. You also can call my cell phone number if you need to.

1/10/08 Message to Trent:
Just go into the transaction and hit refund. That way it doesn't take any fees. Or you'll have to add 3% to the $400 to make up for the paypal fees.

It should look something like this in the details of the transaction with a link to "ISSUE REFUND":

"Refund:
You can issue a refund for up to 60 days after the original payment was sent. PayPal refunds the payment and fees, including partial fees for partial refunds.

Issue Refund"

1/15/08 Message from Trent:

hey man sorry i havent been on in awhile. I just now accepted the transfer from the bank to paypal. so u will have ur money in 3 days. sorry about everything!

1/19/08 Message to Trent:
Hey Trent, can you give me an update on the refund? I would really like to order my clutch as soon as I can while my car is in the shop.

Thanks,
Wallace

1/19/08 Message to Trent:
Well let me know as soon as possible since I just won a clutch on ebay. I need the funds to pay for it.

Thanks,
Wallace

1/19/08 Message from Trent:
Accordding to paypal its still in the process of transfering. It shouldnt be too much longer

1/21/08 Message to Trent
Hey what's up with the refund? Give me an update.

Thanks
Wallace

1/23/08 Message to Trent:
Hey Trent,

It's been a while and I'm assuming the funds should now be available in your paypal account. Please send me the refund when you can.

Thanks,
Wallace

1/24/08 Message from Trent:
I am sorry man, i have only public computer access right now untill the weekend. college and all... im not suppose to go to public accounts.

This was the PM's back and forth. You can see he didn't reply to some even though he was active that day on the forum.

I know it doesn't take that long for Paypal to refund a payment. I feel like he can't keep his word. And you don't need to transfer money to issue a refund, paypal will automatically take it out of your bank account.

It sounds like he just wanted to wait for the weekend.
I'd say give him another day or two at the most, and then take further action and pm a mod to alert them to this thread.

I just got off AIM with him. nismo13GTiR, the best way to get in touch with him is on AIM. Otherwise PM me your phone number and I'll give it to him. He agreed to let me post our convo......

ChrisScarpulla (5:22:21 PM): Hey, got a quick question

WestVirginiaSER (5:22:35 PM): yes?

ChrisScarpulla (5:23:01 PM): You sold a clutch and flywheel on the sr20 forum to nism013gtir?

WestVirginiaSER (5:23:50 PM): yeah, ive been trying to get ahold of him... he calls me, but im always at work and i call back and its busy? only computer source i have is now at work and he doesnt have aim? i cant get on the forums here either... know anyway of talking to him?

ChrisScarpulla (5:25:13 PM): I'll try and get him your phone number

WestVirginiaSER (5:25:23 PM): he has it, hes called

ChrisScarpulla (5:25:24 PM): I see you haven't been on the forum since 1/24

ChrisScarpulla (5:25:45 PM): I mean I'll try and get you HIS phone number so you can call him

WestVirginiaSER (5:25:50 PM): yeah i cant get on public things, paypal, ebay, sr20forum

WestVirginiaSER (5:26:22 PM): ok that will be great! the phone number he has is my house, i really cant do much else, im at school or work when he calls and i dont have internet other than at work

WestVirginiaSER (5:26:34 PM): my work has banned all public things but aim messenger, we use it to talk to some of our clients

ChrisScarpulla (5:27:00 PM): Well, FYI he posted a negative buyer/seller thread about this

WestVirginiaSER (5:27:12 PM): ok
WestVirginiaSER (5:27:19 PM): i would too
WestVirginiaSER (5:27:26 PM): did he explain this to you?

ChrisScarpulla (5:27:29 PM): I haven't read it all

ChrisScarpulla (5:27:35 PM): Are you sending his money back?

WestVirginiaSER (5:29:16 PM): once i get it yes, see this is what happened... i had an ser project car... a long time ago... i thought i still had the flywheel and clutch... well it turns out after i sold it i bought something from ebay with the money he gave me... i went to ship it out the next day and there was only the flywheel. my brother used the clutch in his car... so now im short on money and trying to get it back to him... but i have no public access to anything but aim messenger and im never home... monday through friday im at school (i live on campus without a phone there) or at work... only days im home is weekends
WestVirginiaSER (5:29:22 PM): and i work most weekends (im a photographer)
WestVirginiaSER (5:29:34 PM): so i am trying to get his money back to him
WestVirginiaSER (5:30:19 PM): i know im at wrong
WestVirginiaSER (5:30:25 PM): and i do deserve negative feedback on this

ChrisScarpulla (5:30:27 PM): I'll get his phone number to you. I think it would be helpful to everyone involved if I posted our conversation. People are going to think you're a deadbeat otherwise.

WestVirginiaSER (5:30:30 PM): it was a misunderstanding
WestVirginiaSER (5:30:41 PM): that is fine
WestVirginiaSER (5:30:46 PM): and please tell him to call me on a weekend too
WestVirginiaSER (5:30:51 PM): i will be able to answer then
WestVirginiaSER (5:31:03 PM): if im not on call for photos that is

ChrisScarpulla (5:31:22 PM): ok - I'll do that, and get you his phone number so you can call him. I'll also ask him to try and get on AIM.

WestVirginiaSER (5:31:39 PM): thank you chris, and i do deserve the negative on this, it was my fault

ChrisScarpulla (5:32:12 PM): The important thing is you're willing to work it out.

I deleted the posts with his phone number since he seems like he's trying to work things out.

Keep me in the loop if you need any more help with this.

An update:

so I called Trent on 2/15/08.

He told me about how he spent my money and that he was sorry and that he didn't take any action because it wasn't a priority of his.

He said that Paypal was taking the money from his bank account but
I STILL HAVEN'T GOT MY REFUND AFTER ANOTHER WEEK.

Haven't I given him more than enough time to get my refund?

Called Paypal and was told the seller did not initiate any type of refund.

Tried calling Trent Bradley and his phone went straight to voicemail.

This guy is a total scam.

If anybody has information on this guy let me know. I'm going to try and take this to a small claims court if I don't hear anything from him.

If anybody has any information regarding this person PM me.

I have still NOT received anything from Trent Bradley. No phone call, no PM's, no Emails, NO REFUND.

This guy is a total scam and do not deal with him. He will take your money and run.

hey chriscar..can you try and get a hold of him and see where my refund is at? i think i have given trent bradley an adequate amount of time to issue a refund. Also since he hasn't answered my phone calls it seems like he dropped off the face of the earth with my $400. i want my money back!

If you contact the internet fraud department (i forgot the website, but they work with the FBI), and you provide sufficient evidence that he took your money, they will work to get your money back. They will first contact him and talk with him. If he still doesn't send the money, a warrant will be issued for his arrest.

I've done this before and it worked out fine. I had a money order sent to the police dept. in my local town, and they called me when it arrived and i went to pick it up.

Hope this helps.
