I bought some cams from him since he told me they only have 1500 miles. That's fine, no reasons to question another board member. I send the money, and I get cams with one severely worn lobe, another lobe with very noticeable wear and 2 lobes with bad pitting on them. These are obviously a lack of break-in lubrication problem. They were both cleaned very well, to the point you'd have to be turning your head to not see the problem.
The one point I made to him when discussing the shipping and such is that if there is any problem, that's when I want contact. Nada. I pm him back and let him know I'm not pleased with the deal, but keep my "other thoughts" to myself. Basically there were 4 opportunities for him to step up and make this right. After I let him know a bit more serious how displeased I am, he gives the "was thinking or refunding, but not now" spiel. Right.
So because I trusted another member, again, I'm out several hundred dollars and need to find another route to attain C3's. What a stand-up guy.
