DO NOT BUY FROM USER skcusloa

Original Thread:

http://www.sr20forum.com/mechanical-...x-partout.html

I asked BEFORE buying the following:

What's the condition on these? Did they clicked before the accident or they are just fine? If they are in excellent condition, then we got a deal

Please PM.

And I sent PM with this:

If both are yes, they we got a deal.

Please let me know.

And the answer was...

Paypal: $103 3% paypal fee, skcusloa@hotmail.com

So I inmediately sent the money

Proof of payment

You have sent $103.00 USD to skcusloa@hotmail.com. An email will be sent to the recipient.

After I received the axles and compared them to the ones I have I found out one did not fit and the boots were slightly cracked and very dry. I installed the only one I could and the other I had to get it from Autozone (new refurbished one for only 50 dlls) and the USED one I got from skcusloa CLICKS!!!

So there I was with one clicking axle and one useless one (which is in the same condition as the other that clicks)

I complaint and tried to get into and agreement about this and this was SELLER'S answer:

Re: About the Axles you sent me, they are not good, please read.
Item arrived as described. I do not see any problems. I work on cars full time, I have never seen an axle click "sometimes". They click all the time. I have never seen an axle click that didn't also have a torn boot. The boots were not torn. I sent you axles out of a 95 200sx. It fit that car fine, if your car is not a 95 200sx, you shouldn't have bought them.

I'm not going to give a refund, please do not send them back to me. When you buy junk parts it's a crap shoot. I am not an auto parts store.

He did not replied my following private message I sent and since then he cut communication with me.

Real thing is AXLES CLICK (at least the one I installed), Boots are not torn but cracked and very very dry, they are gonners and I got a useless axle that I was told it should fit.

I know HE IS NOT AN AUTO PARTS STORE, however, he is responsible of what he sells and should deal with that. He shouldn't use the forum to sell and hide.

I paid for a set of fully working axles for my 98 200SX SE-R and instead I got a pair of old junked useless axles for me.

Not trying to jump on you but he did say "should fit" at that point you should have made sure before you bought them.

Agree, however, I am new with these cars and he is not this is why I asked it would fit and the answer is "should fit".. if this is the case, whose fault is it??? The newbie or the expertise seller? My complaint focuses on the clicking rather that it would fit or not and his lack of response and cooperation. You should not sell items that you promise to be in excellent conditions when they are not, if so, then it's called a fraud.

And I understand, however, I being a newbie on these cars did not know about the 98 SE-R had or not a LSD, if fact, I learned right I after I asked several persons why they did not fit.

As many persons here, when being newbie, you TRUST the experienced people, specially if they sell the parts, this is why I asked first if they would fit or not on my 98 200SX SE-R as I did not know anything about axles and trannies on these cars, I just wanted to fix my current clicking sound by changing axles.

What else could I do??? I trusted him and he lied to me. It's like when you go to your dealer and ask for a part you don't know which one really is, if they are the experienced ones and gave you one that does not fit, either way they refund your money back or exchange the part and that is totally fair. In fact a good seller would try to find a solution to the problem but never do what this guy did, no refund, no help, no response to my PM.

And my main concern with him is his actitude and his lack of support after a sale, he cheated about the state of the axles and he is now hidding by not answering my PM neither trying to find out a best solution for both of us.

I appreciate your comments and I think I cleared this point.

Yeah true they still shouldn't have been BAD axles if they were sold as good axles. That part you can complain about. But the one not fitting not so much.

Yeap, I'm with you. Complaint and dissatisfaction goes 2% not fitting 98% BAD AXLES, this is how I currently have it on my mind. If I wanted useless cores, I already had mine.

UPDATED STATUS. After opening a claim with Paypal, seller kept being the same not helpful person and when I escalated it to paypal, I got automatically the following message :

"We have completed our investigation of this case. No further action is required by you at this time. We have denied this claim. As stated in our User Agreement, PayPal’s Buyer Complaint Policy only applies to the shipment of goods, not to disputes about the attributes or quality of the goods received. We have noted your claim in the seller's record. The seller's account privileges will be limited if excessive complaints are received."

SO BUYERS OF GOOD FAITH BEWARE WHEN BUYING USED PARTS, SPECIALLY FROM GUYS WITH LOW REPUTATION (Less than 3) AS YOU ARE AUTOMATICALLY GIVING YOUR MONEY AWAY

Mods, hope you take proper action with this guy.

Thank you.

They were not bad axles. I personally drove this car. I bet I could even get the original owner to vouch they did not click. This guy is just mad because he didn't do his homework. He got a great price on a set of axles. I am not an auto parts store, I can't give a full refund and lose half of what I sold the item for just because a buyer says their part did not fit and clicked. I have no proof of it. This is the risk you take when you do business over hundreds of miles. I regret it did not work out for you, but I cannot compensate you.

He has disputed with paypal and has made 2 threads. The dispute with paypal is not even over. I've made lots of sales on this forum and he is the only one who has ever complained.

Woooa Mr. Invisible has appeared.

Just to be clear on this, I had not bought only from you on this forum but from many people already and all of them have been honest and sent what they offered. I sent you PM and you ignored them all, I wanted to return them for you to check them and you said no, I wanted an exchange or a way to solve this also said no in fact you were pretty clear on this:

Don't send them back, I won't refund your money

Until I opened the dispute on Paypal you misteriously appeared again, even here.

I am not even closed to being mad, in fact, I am all ok and relax it's simply the matter I don't like cheaters like you are and the only way to fight them back is like this, to expose them with everyone.

Next time stop playing fool, this won't work with me. You knew how those axles were, all loose and bad when you ship them, if you drove 30 miles straight line that's fine, but that only sounds little a little excuse, the fact is they CLICK. Also if you don't know if it fits or not say it as it is, don't go saying it will fit just to make the sale and then change your mind that the buyer "should do homework". Be a man and stand for what you sale.

By the way, you are saying great price for a set of bad axles? Let me remind you I already had a set of those, so no one wants to give 103 dlls just to receive a extra pair of unusuable cores.

And yes, if you haven't realized, claim is closed but already filed on your account. It was not making sense trying to fix something with a seller that did not wanted to provide any kind of help or support since the very first day he knew parts were bad.

You are a bad seller for me skcusloa and until you give me:

* Partial refund which I estimate aprox 80 dlls discounting the fact of the shipping charges.
* Change me the axles for good working ones.
* Exchange them for other "good" parts.

I will keep saying and thinking the same about you BAD SELLER

It's your choice if you want to fix or not.
