CHEATED BY Phat_SX

DO NOT DO BUY ANYTHING FROM Phat_SX

PLEASE AVOID ANY BUSSINESS WITH THIS FORUM MEMBER. He tricked me into thinking I was getting a regular compatible B13 working part and I got something that made more damage to my tranny

http://www.sr20forum.com/mechanical-...ml#post2592561

IT SOLD ME A NON COMPATIBLE 18 TEETH GEAR STACK THAT HE KNEW IT WAS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH STOCK B13-B14 17 TOOTH THAT OUR TRANNIES HAVE. I did not know there were different teeth gear stacks and as mine was remove several days before thinking I got the right part it was placed and it fitted well until it was taken for a test drive.

As soon as I moved my car it something felt wrong so we decided to check everything again and for my surprise my lsd ring got damaged and the pinion itself of the gear stack due not being the correct teeth set.

Inmediatelly contacted seller and after asking for photos, one of his first answers was:

Hey Luis after looking at the pictures and such, i see what you mean and i did not know there was anything abnormal about these gears and im really sorry. Im sure you felt you were misinformed and maybe even like i did you dirty that wasnt the case at all. I told you what i knew about the gears and, based upon that you bought them. I couldnt begin to tell you at all if they arent SR gears what they could have came out of in order to even install like they did nor be that close to being identical that you couldnt tell the difference visually...Ive been looking around aswell and no dice. Now that the stack is damaged, its useless and rather worthless at this point, no matter what they are for. Me talking to the guy i bought them from wouldnt do any good, he isnt even in the sr game anymore, hasnt been for years. If i wasnt in a financial bind and needed to sell parts i had laying around i would have kept the gears, and found out myself. Unfortunately i do not have the money anymore as i had to pay bills and honestly do not know when i will be able to get it back. However i am willing to help you get up and going, I do have a spare lsd, and a b13 trans with a stripped third if there are any parts you need to get your trans working again please let me know and i will do what i can. once again im sorry this happened, as neither of us knew of a different stack."

After my problem I started to look for threads over these and there 2 or 3 FOR SALE of this same set where they always stated it was an 18 teeth set non compatible with regular 17 teeth... and probably all that bought them could not find any use for these and sold them again..

I wanted to return the set and get my refund but SELLER did not wanted to so I had to open a claim which was close due fact the sale was made on a forum they could not get in but deeper investigation and talking with paypal representative he felt so bad about my situation that he told me the truth and it was the fact that the item was sold on a non selling site so they could not verify the item for sale.

How come he could bought a part to repair a transmission that he had apart and NEVER tried to fix it in such a long time.

I am 300 dlls out of my pocket with a damaged unusable part because of a fraud sale or non responsible seller you name it.

My recommendation for good faith buyers, if you are going to do business with sellers with less that 5+ feedback ask them to list item on ebay and buy from there.

It's the only secure way to get full support and refund from paypay in case of any problems.

Luis
