I am very upset with this person. I sent Nick Mandich an amount of $350 for a used Gen 5 HotShot Header. That was on December 4,2002. He emailed me a couple of times after I sent him the money and told me that there was a hole in the resonator ? Resonator on a header ,i don't think so. He then said that he would reimburse me for the cost of getting it fixed. I told him to give me back $100+ the header ,or just send the full amount of $350 back to me. Well he has not sice responded to me. I filed a claim with PayPal and all they gave me back was $35.00 b.c thats the maximum amount of funds availible in his account. Now I am very p**ssed off b.c that is a lot of money for me.

If there is anyone that knows this person or is around his area which is Portland Oregon I would appreciate your help. The number he posted in the thread is for North West Engine Supply. Not sure where or if he works there or what.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. It's stuff like this that makes people so on edge when you're trying to sell some parts. I know what you mean about that being a lot to drop for a single purchase. People don't see the behind the scenes of what it takes to get money together just to be able to mod a vehicle, but for some people, it takes nearly everything they have and they can't afford to have someone play with their hard earned $$$. Really hope that your problem gets resolved soon.

Thanks. I am giong to call the number he gave me on Monday to see if they know who he is. I have also notified the owner of this board as well as a few freinds who live over in the area near him. If I have to I will call the local police and get it done that way ,but I don't really want to resort to that.

Do what you have to do to get your situation straight. Sometimes involving the police brings a much quicker end to things. Good luck to you.

Thanks . Another member of this board led me to another board in that area and he just happens to be a member there too, so maybe I can get this straighted out without the cops.

hey, i tryed to get some stock cams from him one time a while back for 100 bucks. i sent the money and he emailed me a few times, then i didnt hear anything form him for almost a month. we were about to do somthing but then one night he called my house and told us that he had family problems and couldnt get around to anything and that the cams had rusted up and so he sent us our money back.... and all is well

Well see it has been a month now since he has said anything to me ,and he didn't even respond to paypal when they contacted him. So I don't care what his circumstances are, he hasnt 'let me know a damn thing so I am getting really mad. If he had told me he had prblems I would have been a lot more understanding.

you know, I almost bought that header. I was interested, but had a funny feeling about him from reading a couple of his posts, so I held off. Sorry to hear what happened. Go to the cops.
