my car was out of commission for over a month b/c of a clutch problem that i could not identify. after shopping around for a new clutch and a shop to install it, i ended up buying a key value clutch (from
www.nissan-accessories.com) and a 01 se disc from cherry hill hissan, per NismoSER's suggestion. total price of clutch parts (throwout bearing, pp, disc and bearing clips) came out to be ~$175. then i got in touch with marksr20 (aka smurf blue turbo 200sx). his shop, j&m motorsports, gave me an unbeatable price on a clutch replacement so i drove the 1 1/2 hr to CT to get the clutch replaced. his mechanic tom (sorry, i forgot your forum SN) took only 1/2 an hour to drop my tranny, and this is WITHOUT a lift. found out that my throwout bearing had been shot to hell - it was in like 10 pieces! about 1 1/2 hours after a dinner break, my tranny was back on my car with a new clutch, disc and throwout bearing. i also had the firewall motor mount insert installed. filled the tranny up with some redline mt-90 and my car was good to go. i can't give enough props to mark and the guys at j&m motorsports - they even fed me while i waited for my car to be worked on. altho i pray to the se-r gods that my car will never need work again (wishful thinking), i will not hesitate to make another trip to J&M motorsports to have my car worked on. thanks again to mark, tom and eric (the civic guy

) for your help!
