You get what you pay for. With people like JGY and Andreas, the extra couple hundred is well worth the knowledge and help you will get. Not to say Nippon is bad but are they going to give you there Cell number for 23hours a day service Hey they gotta sleep sometime

well, i ordered a motor from them about 2 years ago when i didn't have the resources I have now, and I didn't find it to be to cheap about 850 shipped but the motor was tits, it has run amazing for me, I would recommend nippon to be honest but I would also say to buy and support the members of this forum who do it for a living.

thanks, i am still curious though is it worth saving the money and buying it from nippon, or going through jgy because there is a large price swing form 1250 to i think jgy was 1600-1700. or mabye jgy could cut me a deal for something like 1400? becasue i would like to get my tranny rebuilt since it has 100,000 miles on it.

We just put a jdm sr20de in a 91 Se-r this past Sat. and it was very clean and ran great. Paid $615 ship to Wi. Very pleased. I'd recommend Nippon motors.

I ordered from nippon last year during their fwd shortage. That is to say I had to get my money back because they could not produce the motor after two months. They were very nice, but the guy I spoke with(recardo or something) was not at all knowledgable. I was at that time getting it shipped to orlando, Fl for 1200.00 (no ecu) total!
I ended up buying from a vendor in Miami for 1400.00 with ecu.
I then drove three hours and picked it up. The knowledge level was well worth the extra money!!!!!! PAY FOR THE KNOWLEDGE AND THE WILLINGNESS TO HELP!!!!!! By the way the vendor is HKLAUTO in miami. Lenny is who I have delt with for the past year.
The only way I know how to contact him is through Ebay right now. seller "hklauto"
Email him and get a price. Definately if you are in the southeast!
