JDM ECU??

Can you use a VE ecu, or do you need a usdm ecu? If you can't use the ve ecu, would I need to use a de distr with the de ecu? I am currently running all ve acc., looking for a better ecu.

From what I have read, most people run DE ECU w/ programs and are able to use the DE distributor... id ask around and search some more... I'm sure the info is here somewhere

Sorry for the delay, I was looking at VE ecus. I can't work with a VE ecu right now, and don't really think I will be able to in the future. If I got my hands on one I might be able to do something, but I don't think its worth the investment for such a limited market, especially when you can just install a DE ecu and skip the trouble.

I do not know if you can use the VE *** or have to use the DE, please ask in the VE section.

I will try to find someone around my area that will let me borrow a de ecu to plug in to see if it will run on the ve distr.

i'll let you use my ve ecu for a sweat deal when you get the b14 obd2 ve programed ecu going.
edit: are you going to try to make the ga16 ecu work for the sr20ve motor as well?
