I've got three brands I personally use. For a single serial I use a belden model, available at staples. For a dual serial I use a no-name brand using a FTDI chipset I bought off e-bay. For a quad I use one by coolgear usb (I think?) using a prolific chipset.

You've got one of the original B13 prototypes right? If can't get your problems worked out ship me the ecu and I'll make sure its not something on my end. I did make some changes between the prototypes and production boards, but I know your ecu worked on my bench when I shipped it.

I like the belden model from staples because it has little flashing lights. That makes diagnosing these problems quicker. Shoot me an e-mail and I'll send you my cell phone number if you don't have it.

Some of those cheap USB to Sieral Serial cables just suck I know. Good luck and let me know how much the one from staples cost.

I've got a list in the ecu forum... I haven't checked it lately, but it had a few that specifically work
