maxima ECU

hey Calum, can you do a program for my wifes 2000 maxima SE auto?it has the VQ30de not the VG30DE.thanx

actually its NVIS. variable intake manifold..no VVL/VTC in that motor.
back on topic...what can ya do calum?
btw i emailed you regarding an OBDII ECU.

are you sure?I dont know much about this motor but the maxima forums are calling it IVAC?wierd.its a 2000 max with the 3.0.now i am confused.BTW , I know it doesnt have VVL or VTC.I was just kidding by callin it a "ghetto version"of it.but We may need to talk about this VIA phone calls because you may be able to enlighten me a little more about my wifes car.Ive been looking for somebody to explain this motor a little more to me. Anywho,what do you think calum?can it be done?

I think I could work with the older maxes, but I'd need to see an ecu.

its the same setup as a 300zx ECU on the older maxes. ashley powers was working on a zemulator setup for the 92-94 maxima SE, and with a few jumpers/resistors on the daughterboard it works minus variable intake. not sure what it would take on the newer ones, same basic setup as the Z33 i'm sure.

any advice you might need, check maxima.org. if you know how to weed through the BS theres alot of good info.
anything specific, PM or email me..i PM'ed you my cell also, just dont be offended if i dont answer. alot of the time i'm covered in car-grime or at work.

I was thinking along the lines of the 95-97ish. Anyone got a picture of the inside of one of these?
