The Realtime is the new board. One of the threads here has a description, but in a nutshell you can edit and make changes Realtime as the car is running. It also provides a consult connection, all over one usb connection. Slick and simple. All boards include installation and return shipping (and the price is the same if you do the install).
...and the Realtime boards take me a while to build. This is getting better (I did two last night), but right now turn around is slow.

yes I plan on being at the convention with calum. dont know if ill be bringing my nx or not who knows.
but yea get you a calum ecu. the realtime kicks butt, think hondata or the such where you can change anything and everything on the fly with a usb cable. its a bit more than the regular daughter board but when you factor in hassel and the need to buy a rom burner for the old style...its about even, but you are getting it all from one source. plus the whole usb one plug thing is very nice...
good hearing from the Ben's...try to convince him to buy my nx if he gets that van sold
Holy God, this was the answer I was looking for! Thanks for getting back to me Calum. I've been using your Calumsult software along with like four or five other freeware programs for a while now. God bless the freeware community. To give you a quick background. I have a '98 240 w/ a '95 ECU which after searching and trying to get educated on what you can or can't do with a '95 KA ECU, I gave up and decided to get a '91 ECU and MAF and adapt it. I got those two parts TODAY in the mail. I have made the pinout conversions by hand in excel, but I think I'll get the RyWire adapter harness anyway just because of how easy that will make it. I was really interested in Bikirom, but lately version 3 seems to have scared me away.
Anyway, this should be a really fun convention. I haven't been to one is long time, since 01 I think. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys.
Meanwhile, Kevin, I'll let Ben know that he's supposed to buy your NX. In fact, I told him I would go with him to wherever he gets a car from to pick it up. So, if he does maybe we'll be making a trip down to ol Tennessee.
Guess I need to check into the ol long lost SR20 board more often...

I should have the B14/S14 version by the end of the month, but the B13/S13 ecu is a bit less complicated.
I really want to see a freeware opensource (something I can hack on) editor out there. If something doesn't pop on the scene in the near future I'm going to start working making something like this.
