ok, well it seems like im getting warmer but its still not 100%.

my maptrace rpm scale goes to 3200 in increments of 200 instead of to 6400 in increments of 400 like the screen shot you posted. also the TP scale goes to 160 instead of 80 like yours. the values are entered exactly like you described in the first post.

thanks again calum

Sorry, typo on my part. Edited the first post again.

If you've got a problem post or e-mail screen shots of what your getting.

Bringing this back from the dead.

In datascan, when you do a map trace, and certain fields are hilighted, this obviously means that that specific point in the map is affected. I understand this.

The question I have, is the conversion from the displayed numbers in the maptrace, to values that are easier for me to understand. Meaning, say you're at a certain point in the map that is highlighted, and it shows 128 in that field. How is this translated to what value is on the map in the bin file?

For instance, lets say that the car is at around 11.5 AFR at 5000rpm, under WOT. That field is highlighted and shows 128. How does this relate to the value on the fuel map?

I know this has been explained to me before, but I've slept since then, and it would be nice to read it (easier to absorb when I read, vs. being told).

TIA

Just use it to figure out where your are on the map, ignore the values. Just look at the values in TPRT.

Thanks, that was too easy I could just do a pull, and then take a snap shot, so I have something to work with on the maps, right?

Ok, well I'll step up and ask some dumb questions.

Here is what my ignition map trace looks like after driving home tonight.

I'm "guessing" that the yellow squares are telling me I need to do something about that block. The blocks were all red when I started.

Any insights would be great.. thanks.

BTW, I've for a 96' G20 with a VE in it, Calum RT ecu, intake, header and exhaust.

TIA.

Red blocks are the cells you didn't hit. Yellow it what you hit on your drive home. Looks like you didn't go WOT at all.

Actually I thought I did a few times.. I'll go for a ride tomorrow and make sure to it WOT alot of times. And post up my map trace at that point.

I have logworks setup with calumsult, so should I just be looking at that my logworks data feed?

This might have been answered but I can't see to find it. I'm trying to setup my map tracing values and I put in the values on the first post for the b14 and I'm only getting a 3200 rpm and high tp. Is there something else I need to do?

Any help greatly appreciated!
