hey man... i have a 93 p10 w/ sr20ve,1.6 cams, cam gears, header, full exhaust..... basically the problem is the cars running off stock DE ecu an an S-AFC the afc is cool and all but i rather get rid of it and have something reliable..that doesnt eat so much gas...the plugs are fouled out from what i can see an the oder of gas is immense
as of right now.. the car wont rev over 3k at wot... its due to the s-afc ...at one point yesterday the screen didnt light up but the buttons were.. so i checked each wire.. found the one that was causing the issue with the s-afc fixed it an it still wont rev past 3k..
ofcourse my next move is to re-install the s-afc... just to get the car moving..
listen i hope to GOD you got a program out there that you can help me out with this. ill overnight you an ECU tomorrow
Please help.
i wanna get rid of the s-afc like... now.

dJ gNO cYDZ.................. RIP DJ SPEEDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was gettin on THE IN .25 to .30 on it without the car on With the car on it didnt get up to its regular # .. i remember always seeing it on 1.0 AN UP ESPECIALLY ON STARTS..
after the fix
the IN 2 was an is still at .25 to .30 with the car off.. giving it gas with the car on it went to the highest .80 giving it gas never reaching 1.0 an higher.. so im gonna check the out wire for the maf tomorrow..
thank god im not a S-AFC newb. but nevertheless.. its not reliable.
i thank god for the sensor check if not i would have had to re-do the whole set up..
Well calum may or may not see this quickly....*** i think he can get on the net this morning.
With it not rev'ing....you are blocking the MAF signal to the ECU more than likely. Somewhere between the maf and the ecu the signal is broke, more than likely the safc you installed. to check, get a multimeter and check continuity between the maf and backprobe to the proper wire on the ecu...i dont have a fsm handy to check right now. but i bet you dont have conitunity.
your correct. The IN 1 which is the wire inconjuction with afc (from maf to afc) was just hanging there.. i figured it out round 11pm last night with a flash light an a pack of cigerettes..but the IN 2 which is now the wire goin from the afc to the ecu is giving me a distorted signal... at idle its @ .30 to .25 while my IN 1 is at 1.o45 an above...
the s-afc was installed a while ago from previous owner. but the ecu was just hanging there..soo one of these wires loosen'd up...

Yea, if you just need a plug and go, get the basic. It works just fine assuming the program you need is something I've worked on before (VE with 1.6 cams is).
