SR20VE ECU????

Can you do anything with the SR20VE ECU?
Its OBD1 as you know and I need OBD2 to run a VE on a 95G20, would you recomend it with higher RPM lim. speed cut with a OBD adapter on a 95G20. Or should I just reprogram the stock G20 ECU

No, I don't work with those.

A reprogrammed stock G20 ecu is way easier to work with- no harness adapter needed, and the rev limiter and speed cut aren't an issue. What cams are you looking to run?

Pretty much. What I need on an order form is really just-

-engine (VE or DE)
-Maf
-Injectors
-Cams
-Anything oddball
-Where you want the rev limiter set to

If your doing something weird I'd prefer to talk to you on the phone before ordering. If its something standard like a basic VE or a DET, thats not a big deal.

On the B14, I've worked actually worked with cars using the E60 maf, but not the N60. I ballparked some programs for customers and they seem to work, but if you haven't actually got the maf installed yet just get the E60. Its newer anyways, they seem to be in a bit better shape when you pull them from the junkyard. The older maximas tend to get beat to death.

For B13 (and OBD-I G20s, blue plug ecus) I've worked with the N60 on an actual car, so thats not a big deal.

As of rigth now stock cams. But the only thing is I got a auto G20 ECU and its getting a 5SPD swap which will leave me with the CEL, now I was thinking since its a VE it will throw a CEL even if changing to 5SPD G20ECU rigth??? or wrong??? so mine as well re-program the auto G20 ECU or re-program a 5SPD ECU to clear the CEL.

If your swapping to a manual, you need to use a manual core.

Calum,

I'm going to need your #. My sr20ve is up and running and do have the N60 maf installed already. My car is a 91 so hopefully that will make our lives easier. My core ecu should be arriving any day now and I will shoot that to you.

Thank you Sir!
