Anyone looking to get a CAI?

Hey guyz, I was wondering if anyone in T.O. area is planning on getting a CAI soon? I think FastNX is planning, are u? If anyone is, maybe we can see if we can get together and order them together, save on some shipping charges by bundling them together, and maybe a lower price. What do u guyz think? I was thinking of getting the PR CAI over the HS version, just from what I've read in posts being that the HS CAI doesn't fit on the car as well as the PR (doesn't fit flush or something).

Sounds good to me. Let me know when you do want to get one, I'll get one at the same time.

Sweet!!! That's not too bad of a price. I'm assuming 300 plus taxes, right?

Well I'm gonna check some other places knowing that JRP will charge 300, and see what other bargains I can dig up tomorrow and let you know. Oh yeah, do you think they're willing to lower the price anymore knowing that they will sell 2 of them (unless that is selling 2 of them)?

i dont know, i told them there are more of us out there but he didnt say that was a special price. he may knock off like 20 bucks if we both buy. but i need to buy some more sh*t first so it may be a bit till i can buy the CAI

Hmmm. I was quoted $140 for the Green, $165 for the Reds, taxes not included.

I'm thinking of Red or Yellow, or Metalmaster Ultimates.

I'm hoping I can get a better price than that.

Post your impressions of the brakes here. I'm curious.

BTW, the Metalmasters have been good, but they're wearing out. They work fine, but they have to be broken in properly, or they chunk.

I can order mine next week. What about the AEM from JRP or somewhere else around here? If we can get it for around $300 that would be worth it.

JRP wants around $650 + tax for the AEM. I saw you in the classifieds looking at that guy in toronto's intake, so i looked in the classifieds myself and found an intake, which i have now orderd. so go ahead and get the AEM off that guy if you can, but it looks like i already have mine.

Thats cool bud, its good to see that you're getting the intake.

As for me, I'm undecided in what I want to do now . I was over at the motorcycle show this weekend at the international centre, and I might go for my M1 + M2 licensing this year (if the f*cking MTO resolves their problems soon). I've been thinking/wanting to get a bike for the past year and a half, maybe this is my year!!!! So I'm gonna have to do some more saving up if I do follow through with it....

What wheel/tire combo you got on order? I just got my energy suspension master set in, I cant wait to install that, but i may wait for the AGX's adn hypercoils to arrive and just do it in 1 shot with new ball joints as well.

I just received my wheels last thursday. I now have 17" Enkei CDR9s wrapped in Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712s sized 205/40/R17. They look so sweet on the car now!!!! I know there are better Z-rated tires out there, but I decided on the Kuhmos because they are (at least I think) the best priced Z-rated tires out there. They stick to the ground like glue as compared to the Michellins that I had on my stock rims and now there is no slop in the suspension when taking S-curves at +130km/h!!!

Speaking of ES, I have my side MM and shifter bushing still not attached to the car, and I think I will be getting the front and rear MM and installing them all at once, any idea where would be the cheapest place locally to order these from? TIA

Where did you order your ES master set from?

good to hear you got your rims and tires, youre really dropping alot of coin into that thing!!! The ES, you cna get it anywhere, its pretty much all the same price, about $250 or so. the killer part is actually installing it.
