(604 Area) WTB: B13 Suspension

Hi All,

Looking for a spring strut/shock combo, coilovers, etc. If anybody in the Vancouver area has anything let me know.

Thanks,

Mike

Are you driving an XE? What are your plans for the car?

It's a 94 limited edition. It's my daily, but the suspension is dead, and I like to autocross all my cars so I'm definitely looking for an upgrade over stock.

Other then that it's got plenty of power, so looking for engine management (all gages), nx2000 brake upgrade f&r, sway bars f&r, and hopefully a sunny conversion 1st or 2nd gen.

Don't know of many sentra nuts in Canada/Vancouver as we never got the SE-R. Let me know if you're ever down for meeting up.

I drive B13 so when I get all my stuff done on it the thing will at least look like an SE-R and with an I/H/E should still be pretty fun to drive. Yes I am a Sentra nut. How committed am I to the B13? 3 years ago I bought a black 96 B13 E that was factory clean and had 76,000 Kms on it. Then some lady runs a stop sign and it gets totalled. Back then I had Hyperco/AGX, Active tuning RSTB, Addco rear swaybar, B14 SE-R wheels, clusterswap, AD22VF brakes, Hotshot header, the whole bit. After I found out my mint-ass car was going to be totalled I was so mad I swore up and down that I was done with modding. fu*kin ICBC will do anything to save a buck but to be fair they gave me a pretty good settlement. So I sold most of my stuff and bought a 95 GTI VR6. That is a sweet car but I never felt right driving it. It always felt like driving someone else's car. And it was a pig at the pump. This summer I sold the GTI in order to reaquire a Sentra and reboot the project. So what do I find on Craigslist? A black 96 B13 E. Granted this one is nowhere near as mint but it was half the price of the first one. So if you should see a black B13 with a Sunny bumper and B14 wheels that will be me. As for suspension I am now in the Custom Shortened Koni camp. I'm going Spec V fronts and standard reds in the rear on Ground Controls. For me CSKs or Progress coilovers are the only setups I would consider but AutoX rules may not allow them depending on the class you race in I think.

PS, if you want some SE-R like goodies you should check out the Ralph's wrecking yard on Mtchell Island. I saw a sweet 94 GXE there last week that you could pull the tach cluster and inner tails from if the LE doesn't already have these.

Check out the suspension section of this forum. There's a good deal form YoungAssazyn on some AGX's with Eibach springs.
