Well, I finally got off my ass and started phoning around to the usual sources in Toronto to see if I could find an SR20VE - I should've aimed a little lower to see if I could find someone in the GTA who knows what an SR20VE is.

- "No." (hangs up)

So, essentially a cluster f*ck.

If anyone else is interested, I think that the only way to get this pack of overwhelmingly talented brightlights to get their collective heads out of their asses, is to start a phone campaign.

So, for those who are interested in being able to source an SR20VE in the GTA, I suggest we all take turns phoning the above numbers from time-to-time until someone gets a hit (might be a year from now - but hey) Phone away.

All importers are pretty clueless. All they know about nissan is black top and red top turbos. Thats it unless you are asking for some form of B-series sh*tvic engine


Everytime you ask this is what you will hear.

me - Im lookin for sr20ve
importer - yes we have, turbo or non-turbo
me - non turbo, black top VE eh
importer - yes non turbo we have
me - black top?
importer - yes, turbo

and it goes on and on
