Here are the answers to many questions that were asked in the previous thread about (gauging interest in 94 se-r) as now it is for sale.
What’s the current mileage?
-129k
Any rust?
-Rust: I dont see any but I am going to have it on a lift very shortly to have the whole undercarrage looked at for rust.
The paint looks good, any problems with it or the body?
- The paint does look good, these pictures were from before I buffed the car. It definitly needs attention if you are very anal about your cars. For 12 year old paint I am very impressed on how it held up. There are some nic's here and there but not that bad at all for its age. I can point out some door dings (nothing major at all) that a dent company can pull out without even blinking an eye.
The leather seats sound good, how’s the rest of the interior?
- The rear panels (when you sit in the back seat if you look right under the window, that panel) both of them have 6x9 speakers in them. It was not my idea as I purchased the vehicle this way. It looks flush with the black speaker grilles, it really doesnt bother the looks that much at all.
- The dash and all other trim pieces are in great condition and have a black luster shine to them. The headliner is in decent shape but does have 2 cigarette burns in it. Very small and unnoticable unless your looking up all the time. The carpets are in great condition along with the floor mats look brand new (except for the drivers has foot marks in them from my driving habits of keeping the edge of my heel on the floor mat).
- The Trunk is in great condition also. The carpet looks great (it only really sees my golf clubs) and everything else is in tact.
How are transmission and clutch?
- The Transmission is in Great Working order. I have had '0' problems with the transmission. All of the gears shift smoothly and it is a joy to drive. The Clutch is in great condition also. I would not race this car run after run as it is a stock clutch style setup (that I am sure was replaced because my 97 with 40k felt just as good). I really dont beat on the car so I dont know how it reacts under the stress of a lot of heat. Little pulls from 2-6k the clutch reacts exactly the way it should.
Any accidents?
-No. I checked this car through carfax before I bought it and there was none on that document.
Clean title, etc.
-Clean Title in Hand and Bill of sale ready for the new owner. etc...? if you can let me know what other questions you have I will be glad toaddress them.
Any concerns or anything that needs attention?
-Yes, there are 3 concerns that will be taken care of before the sale of the vehicle.
1)The 94 bumper has seen better days so I took it off the car and it will be installed in pristine condition when the vehicle is purchased.
2) The A/C line needs to be replaced. This will be installed before the vehicle is purchased.
3) The windshield washer resevoir leaks bad enough to have the bottle empty 10 minutes after you fill it. This will be replaced before it is sold.
Does the car have the manuals or other paperwork, receipts, etc
-I do not have any miscellanious paperwork or manuals on this vehicle.
Are the short shifter and a Rockford Fosgate CD Stereo still in the car?
The Short Shifter is a cut stock shifter with a stock shift knob( I received the car this way) and yes it is still in the vehicle. The rockford Fosgate CD stereo is still in the car but lately it is having a hard time reading CD's as it is an older player.
