hello,
My name is Cory Turner and i am selling my 1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R. I was rear ended and forced into the truck in front of me on the seventh of july on the 91 freeway in anaheim. I have owned the car since february. i am the second owner, it was originally owned since new by an older woman that worked at a nissan dealership and her father also owned a shop in san jose. it was perfectly maintained and i still have all reciepts from all services done since new. i have the original window sticker. the car was fully loaded with every bell and whistle. it cost $16,500 in 1991 when she bought it. not a cheap car at all for that time. here are some specs on it:
214,000 miles (10,000 by me, rest by orignal owner)
2.0L engine rated at 140HP, when i bought it i serviced all fluids and ran a compression test which showed positive results (145PSI across all 4 cylinders). engine runs great, starts everytime, new battery in february (not damaged in accident)
5-Speed Transmission with Limited Slip Differential, most sentra's with this transmission had a problem with 5th gear slipping out on the freeway whilce cruising, however this transmission is original and never had any problems. only thing in driveline that should be taken care of is the CV joints, they are clicking while the car is just started up (while the joint grease is still cold)
Interior is near perfect, carpet is original Black and has no stains, worn sligtly where foot rests on drivers side only. however original floor mats are included and are in perfect condition for a 16 year old car. Seats have a few minor stains that possibly could be cleaned if you use more elbow grease than i did.
The brakes are disc all the way around. i did a brake job on the front about 3 months ago, which included replacing rotors and pads with new ones.
in February i also replaced the Windshield with a brand new one...
THIS VEHICLE IS NOT SOLD AS A DAILY DRIVER, IT IS RECOMENDED THAT YOU USE THIS VEHICLE FOR PARTS ONLY!!!!
I currently have someone intrested in the car, however they ahve yet to look at it, and they wouldnt have the money for a few weeks, so this car is for sale to the first person that has $500 CASH!!!!
the car does drive, i drove it for a few miles after the accident to get it off the freeway. the suspension is not bent and the radiator did not crack during the accident. the Air Conditioning however i am unsure of. The car still starts up and starts easily and can be driven around my apt complex when you look at it. if you are interested please call me, if i do not answer please leave a message. i work from 8am-8pm M-F and i normally catch a few waves on my way home from work. so i will normally call people back around 9PM. either that or call me on the weekend or email me. thanks for your time.
