Who would be interested in buying it? Just want to get an opinion. It's a black
'93 SE-R 5-spd with 24,000 miles (12,000 of which were track miles in SSB). It has a bolt-in mild steel rollcage, and carries along with it body damage from racing, i.e: passenger door damage and rough bodywork all around, nothing major though. The car was raced from '93-'01 in the SCCA Showroom Stock B class. The modifications are a Nismo exhaust cam, aftermarket flywheel, JWT ECU, Nismo radiator, B&M short shifter, Eibach Prokit/Koni Special adj. inserts, the engine is balanced and blueprinted, ES motor mounts, straightpipe (from resonator-back, PIAA fogs, and a K&N drop-in filter. The interior is in perfect condition, and the engine compartment is spotless. It has seen nothing but Mobil 1 5w30 syn. oil every 3,000 miles (or before and after every race when raced), Redline MTL tranny fluid, and Castrol GT-LMA brake fluid. It put down 139.6whp/125.0wtq and ran a 14.8@92mph and a 15.2@96mph in the 1/4-mile with a 2.1 60-ft and a 9.51@73mph 1/8-mile. There is nothing mechanically wrong with the car as it is kept up religiously. I would include 1 extra sr20 engine/tranny with only 2,500 miles on it, about $1k-$3k worth of extra parts, two extra sets of stock B13 SE-R wheels, a FSM, and all the good stuff to go with it. I would ask $4,500 o.b.o. I'll do a poll to see who would be interested...Thanks for looking!
Not a bad price, especially considering the engine work and the extra engine and parts that come with it. If I had the time, I'd buy it to use as a track car. But, I only have time for my daily driver Classic.
Would you take a pair of screaming 3 month old twins in trade? Oh crap, here comes my wife! Actually, it's only the girl who screams her head off... like she's doing right now.
I think you can probably get what you're asking. I know that I'd be talking with you, if only....
Later,
Mark
