K sport coilovers adjustment of height help!

I wanted to know just how to adjust the height on my K sport coilovers for my car, do I adjust them from the bottom side of the strut where the orange piece is by where it mounts with the 17mm bolts to the hubs??

I am confused, or do I adjust them from the bottom of the spring where the 2 collars where you use the 2 spanners???

If anyone can advise, it would be much appreciated!!! I need to finish this in the next 2 hours so I can get it aligned.

I don't get what you mean by the lower mount, so the thing on the bottom just spins around and around??

By the lower mount, you mean the part that bolts on the hub with the 2 17mm nuts and bolts???

the bottom only has one spot to use the spanner to turn it, is that where you adjust it from for height??

So the upper side ajustment where you turn both spanners at the same side is for the softness or hardness of the springs??

These are on my 99 nissan sentra se 4 door.

The upper side (spring perches) are to set spring preload and the lower strut mount is for height adjustment.

what if I can't thread the black piece back on the bottom of the strut, is that a big deal, it does not seem to be a big deal.

NO!

lift your car and remove your wheels. make sure all the perches the springs are sitting on are snug up against the spring and there is no slop

"make sure all the perches the springs are sitting on are snug up against the spring and there is no slop"

Is that the starting point for adjusting the springs from the top? That would be for stiffness?

And do the rears adjust the same way, from the bottom? In terms of height

you looking to hard at this.

check all the perches the springs sit on.......make sure there is no slack for the spring when it is decompressed or you will loose suspension travel.

only adjsut the height at "the little orang thing at the bottom"
