please help
can anybody tell me what poundage the front and rear coilovers are from D2

spring rates mate and how they are measured, find them too firm and am trying to put lighter springs on cos too harsh for the local roads

They are very short and have very little travel. Putting on a lighter spring is just going to cause the strut to bottom out. I would make sure you have zero preload on the springs you have now and put the dampening to full soft.
