question about suspension parts... pics!

im trying to figure out what is what here so i can buy new parts for my car...





one looks like a femer bone out of a human that goes fromt he subframe to the control arm and the other looks likea U or a horse shoe...


please help out, id appreciate it.


also, my friend who told me that it was connected to the control arm,said that is the lower ocntrol arm and my car doesnt have an upper arm?? well that is the front so i think there is an upper arm in the rear?? i dunno plz help thanks

i recomend you not drift if you dont know what a sway bar is.

is that the front or rear suspension? i know nothing about 240's but i know "that u bend thingy" is a sway bar and the other one is looking like a traction link.

Thats the Tension Control Arm. Or Forward Link of the front suspension. They get worn out ussually. TEIN makes a nice replacement. The cheap ebay ones have bad bearings so avoid them or plan on upgrading the bearings (might as well just get the TEIN.

spl parts makes amazing suspension for 240's and 300z's at damn good prices.
