FSTB Pull in or push out?

What is the best set up for a FSTB? Should it push out on the towers or pull in on the towers? Does it even matter?

I push mine out. Think about it. Its a brace to keep the chassis from flexing during hard turns. Pushing out will keep it from flexing. Pulling in will make it want to flex more.

I would try to pull it in as little as possible either way its going to brace, but pushing out is going to cause positive camber

Pushing out isnt going to cause possitive camber. The camber slack is in the strut bolts that connect the strut to the hub.

And really...if your pushing the struts outward thats going to be pushing the hubs top inward (so little that it wont make a difference) which is going to give you NEG camber....

Uh,,, backwards there. gtlaw is correct but it'd be a very small difference either way unless you are really cranking the pressure to it.

My logic would say have it set to push out. This to me would be more of what a "brace" does...
