Hi, ive been looking for b13 rims in my area and have had no luck so i just gave up. I came across a set of 95ish miata rims (cant exactly remember the year). The specs are 4x100mm, 45 offset, 54 center bore. They bolt in perfectly and but the rims are not touched the rotors. There is a clunking noise coming from the rear. I think its because of the gap, the rotors slapping away at the calipers. Ive read that the center bore of b13s is 59.1 so would a 5mm spacer do the trick?? heres a pic of the space.

Holy crap you're not actually driving on those wheels are you!?! Just like above, you need to bore the cente out. You can ghetto it with a dremel or have it done for real at a machine shop.

i drove it around for 20 miles and it sounded like the rear end was going to rip apart, it was an experience . Ill ghetto it lol but would the spacers? work??
you can bore it your self with an air grinder and a 1/4 drill bit, at least that's what i used. it took really long for me to do all four of my civic hx rims. i'd rather go the spacers route, only because machine shops over here charge a grip.
i ordered the spacers less than 20 bucks online. If they dont work ill just take them down to Motor Service in Nashua. i had an intership there last year and they really liked me so im sure they'll hook it up. For any NH people looking for a machine shop these guys are great and are very fair with their prices, just tell them that "towed" sent you .
If those spacers are hub-centric, you're going to have the same problem.
That problem is that the hub bore of the wheels is slightly smaller than that of your factory wheels. The "correct" way to do this is to take your wheels to a machine shop and have them bore the wheels out to match your car. Tell them your problem and they'll know what to do.
Dang son, don't drive the car like that! Well, you've already heard that.
Already said, but hub spacers or no, you need to get the centers bored out a tad. You need to do this with or without spacers. My old track tires are on 14x5.5JJ Miata wheels (the original, Minilite-looking ones) and come with 5mm spacers, though this is more so that the 205/55 tires clear the strut bodies. It is also useful, if you use spacers, to find a set of extra-deep lug nuts so that you get plenty of thread engagement on the studs.
Unfortunately I can't offer any advie about where to find such lug nuts (I bought my wheels and tires from a listmemner in 1996) but it oughn't be too hard to figure out.
This is just my daily driver till i finish college. Hopefully she will still be alive to start my project.
Is this college that you are talking about Franklin Pierce???
