which rims and tires are best?

So about a year ago I bought a set of 17" rims with toyo tires and thought that it would give me better handling and be lighter than my stock wheels on my 95 200sx se…..well I was wrong they did great as far as sticking to the road but as far as being lighter…they were not they weighed a ton. So now that I found someone to buy these heavy things I want to know what I should get that would be lighter or equal to stock weight and would still look good. I see a lot of people putting SE-R wheels with and good tires…but I want something black w/ chrome lip…anything will help..thanks

As per lightness goes, the smaller diameter the rim obviously the less rim there is, making a 15" rim of a certain kind be lighter than a 17" version. Same with price, the bigger the diameter the more expensive, and are the tires. And as to what is best is all up to you man. Just check the weights of the rims that you're buying, email the company or seller or whoever and get your facts right. I think something is said about this in ShawnB's great suspension sticky if you want to check that.

I think Kosei K1's and Koning Feathers are some light weight wheels.

but I did stay with 15 inch, what do you guys think?? I went with a wheel that most friends of mine won't believe I picked out myself.. definitly not something that I would normally go with.. but they spoke to me .hehe..

and I chose this rubber this time... (Neo-gen vr 205/50/15)

dang it guys I resized this 3 times and it won't get any smaller.. I'm sorry for being SOOO BIG
