Damage AGXs

Ive tried searchin this subject and have had no results. Ive also read Shawn B's amazin thred on suspension. ITS A FORUM MUST READ!!!
And after that research i want to go w/ RM springs on my agx's. the issue is that the previous owner cut the sportlines (which r on the intended to use agx's) on the front 1.5coils down. so its a very harsh ride. now before i spend the money on the RMs is there any way i can tell by lookin at them if my agx's are damage beyound SMART reuse? Any wisdom will help.

*Shucks.* Thanks for the endorsement and kind words.

Now I am really feeling Catholic guilt over initially being an abrasive jackass to you. Once again, I am sorry I got so aggressive.

You will have a vastly improved and budget-concious performance suspension. Don't forget some high-quality bump-stops. The Koni's are highly recommended and you can purchase them from Serban at The Go Fast Depot (Forum Vendor - bottom of the main page).

I do not know the answer to that question. Leaks would be obvious, but I don't really know how to "hand test/inspect" a strut for proper operation and re-use.

However, someone suspension-savvy will know and answer the question for you. Then we'll both know the answer.

Leaking fluid is the most obvious issue. You can use the adjustment knobs and compress the shafts, they should be easier to compress the softer the setting.

If it is in your budget I agree that you should switch to Koni's even if the AGX's are good. Sell them off to offset the Koni cost.
