Previously i had 17x7 w/ +40 off set and had no issues either. I think the highest offset i used on a B14 was +42? Currently I am running 16x7.5 w/ a +32 offset w/ 205/50/16 and have no rubbing issues. I wish I went w/ 225/50/16 instead.

Thanks Diabolic Hippo. Mine is a 200sx on stock suspension. I sort of getting use to the 15 stock height, will it jack up the car like 4x4 by goin 16s.

So the tires, 205.50 should be OK.

You will be fine. I run 205/45/16 w/o rubbing.
On a B14 there is enough room for a 17X8 wheel with 225 tires.

I changed the stock alloy on my B13 for some 16" ones and one of the tyres was rubbing. I found out it was the strut being bent that was the problem. I have had N14's and B13's with 14", 15", 16" and 17" rims without any other dramas.

You will only rub the 16X7 40 offset on B14 at full lock.
You can fit a 17 X 8 w/ 225 width tires on a B14. Don't worry about the rubbing.
