B13-B14

Does anyone know the dimensional differences between the B13 and B14 suspensions. Obviously one is independent but what I was thinking is .... retrofitting the independent suspension out of the B13 into the B14.

Im sure this has been discussed before but it was just one of those thoughts before I fell asleep.

the front is damn near the same...............there is no way to put the b13 rear suspension on the b14 without dumping ALOT of money into it............do some searching on rear beam bending.

If you have a lot of money to blow I suppose you could do that. However, its been said that with the proper suspension mods and a rear beam bent to zero toe a B14 will handle just as well if not better than a B13.

Make a rear suspension mount for the B14 and I will buy it like tommorrow.

For the most part. The independent rear suspension, the weight and size of the B13 are some of the main reasons. But like stated a B14 can handle pretty well with the beam bend mod and a good coilover setup, sway bars, ... I just wanted to see if rear independent was a reasonable possibility and its not so ill probably try to do beam bending at the meet.
