Alignmnet is off after ES Bushing installation...WTF?!?!
This past saturday I installed the Energy Suspension Sway Bar Bushings and Energy Suspension End links Bushings.
I used part # 9-5125R 20MM for the front sway bar and part # 9-8105R for the front end links.
I did feel a huge difference, better handling, and ride improvement over all. I have taken fast turns on the street and love how it handles much better.
I still havent taken it to the canyons as of yet....So I havent tested them out to its full potential.
Well the issue is after the install I noticed that when I drive straight my steering wheel is way off to the left. If I ceter the steering wheel, my car turns right.
Suspension Gurus....where you guys at?
So what went wrong with the installation? Did i do something wrong?
Has anyone had this problem?
I been thinking if I should get an alignment..but I doubt thats gonna solve the issue and i'm low on money, i do got the hook up at just tires but i'll rather fix it first before going out and spending money.
Suspension Gurus...where you gys at?

If you pull one side down more than the other, you could have created a steering effect. Final tightening of sway bar end links should be done with the car on its wheels and suspension fully loaded.

All good tips... But I think you are overlooking the obvious. Whenever you take apart suspension parts and reassemble them, you are going to need an alignment. Removing the struts from the steering knuckle can throw it off, and that is only two bolts in relatively close fitting holes.

Hmmmm How would I reach around the wheel/tire when its on the ground...my car is pritty low.

Get an alignment.
Yeah thats true...I heard that about suspension. i didnt remove struts.
I also been thinking what if the sway bar wasnt centered properly when I installed it. Like it was off to the right side (passenger side) and making the steering pull to the left. That made sound stupid but what if?
Well i'm going to work on the front suspension tomorrow since i have the whole day off. I'ma check out what i did wrong.
If anything its the alignment that needs to be done just like you said.
anytime you take the suspension apart and change stuff your alignment is affected. Your old bushings were worn and your alignment was set to compensate. The new bushngs are nice and tight so stuff moved. It doesnt take much to throw off your alignment. Just get another alignment and you should be good to go.

Yeah you guys are right. I took a look at my suspension today and couldnt figure out the problem.
I definately have to take it to get an alignmnet after I replace the rack and pinion passengers side boot. So I wont pay twice for an alignment
The bolts that hold your struts to your hub assembly aren't perfectly round, they are oblong and effect your camber. did you touch those? if so, you need to take them back out, mark them and set both sides the same.

they arent cam bolts stock. they're round.
they're only cam-type adjustment bolts if someone else had an aftermarket camber correction kit installed.
