I'm desperate!!!

First of all I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum

This is my problem....

I have a 98 b14 with rear disc brakes. I've noticed when it gets real cold my rear brakes get sort of locked. (by sort of I mean that at first they feel like the e-brake never disengaged but after about 3-5 mins of driving they're fine). Well this only happens when it gets really cold out. Well today the temp never got above freezing and I got into the car and when I went to drive it felt like the rear brakes were "sort of" locked again. I drove on them for about a half a block and when i tapped the brake my rear tires locked up! I immediately pulled over and parked the car. It's sitting in a parking lot right now and I'm gonna get the trailer and go grab her tomorrow. Somebody please tell me what I should look at or anything that would help!

Thanks

P.S. Sorry again if I posted this in the wrong forum

P.S.S. Don't flame me too bad guys!!

sounds like your ebrake may be partialy engaged, or your brakes are freezing. try spraying them with a water hose before you leave and see if it helps.

sounds like you have water in your lines. This same thing happened to a caller of car talk. You can hear what they recommended. I think they thought there was a leak in the line or master cylinder. You can find podcasts for the episode online.

Bleed the brakes first to make sure there's no water in the lines freezing up.

Second, the e-brake cable itself may be freezing in place.
