power steer or manual ???

I got a quik question I removed my power steering from my b13 se-r and was wondering if the b13 e-model manual steer rack is easier to turn than the elimanated one ??? If so i will just replace it with the e-model rack . let me know if any one has tried this !!! also do they have the same steer ratio ?

its a little easier to turn but takes more turns to turn it completely. i remember reading an old thread about it and most people said its not worth it, some people said the power rack is better.

I am running a mezeire electric water pump so that belt is deleted . you can pick up the meziere kit for about $250 . I highly recomend it it just pumps water at a consitant rate so there is no cavitating from belt driven pumps . it come with all you need block off plates ect.. . .

i love the e-rack on my b13.. i took out the ps pump and just used a short belt from napa for the water pump and crank pulley.. so yah its not so bad turning once the wheels move turns freely.. but parallel parking might be an issue but you will get used to it.. i went to the local junkyard and pick up the e-rack for 75-80 bucks..

Have you noticed any difference in steer ratio ? everyone say the power rack has shorter turn ratio ..

no its like another 3/4 turns lock-to-lock. i prefer the manual rack over looped power, but thats just me.
