Lowered suspension, springs n Struts recommendation

Hey guys, just got my B14 SE four doors. I have been looking for one almost 4 years, I loved this thing to death. I really like to lowered the car as she still ride on OEM suspension.
However, I heard good things about TEINS, but they are expensive. What will be a decend combo without the ricer/gangster look? Affordable? I hate to go anything more than 1 to 1.5 inches...I drove my daughter to school, just don't want that Fast n Furious looking Honda.
Something not to harsh or bounce up and down.

thanks

Whomever told you "good things about Teins" is flat-out incorrect and providing horrible advice. No longer listen to that persons advice on your suspension.

Why Tein makes the worst springs for the B14 chassis. Thank you Sentrixx, good discussion:

TX SE-R - Please read the thread provided and educate yourself before you buy any suspension products for your vehicle. It will save you a ton of money, headaches, and disappointing results.

Ive got Tein basics w/ pillowball mounts and I love them...the car looks very inconspicuous and is not tucking rubber. Handles like a snake. The ride is a little stiff but I like the feedback.
