Squeaking rear suspension.

Hello All,

Does anyone know what the hell can be squeeking in my rear suspension? Its driving me crazy.

Recently done - ( last 1 month )

NEW AGX's
Ground Control Sleaves siliconed to AGX's ( removed lots of noise )
ES Swaybar bushings ( i know poly can be noisy but its not the bushings )

Its only on the left side I hear it ( drivers side )

My thoughts are ( could it be worn shock mounts ? ) not sure if mine are worn they are original 1992 mounts but they looked ok, could the strut be a tad loose? Highly doubt since there is no clunking.

This squeak just will not go away its so annoying, Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Can you get it to make noise when you push down on the rear fender? If so, I could get a helper, and either have them press or you press down and see if you can find where the noise is coming from. I had a similar noise in the front of my car, and it was the sway bar bushings. I had my wife push on the fender while I laid on the ground and listened.

What you have to do is turn up the radio.

hahahhah Joe,

Eric,

Yes if I push down repeatedly on the rear bumper I can hear the noise outside of the car. It really sounds like the upper shock tower.

I will try this asap with my girlfriend pushing on the bumper.

AAAHHHHH!!!!

I have the same noise. man is that terrible. It started when I installed my Ground controls and AGX shocks. I siliconed and wrapped the struts with duct tape, the whole process that someone said to do in place of the o-rings. its hard to pinpoint, but its subtle then gets crazy loud. I thought it may be the sleeves, but then I thought, maybe its the connection of the alluminum perch to the top mount plate?? could that be the issue.

I hate that noise and makes the car seem like its going to fall apart!!!

I turn the radio up a bit also!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anybody fix this?

I am interested also.
