Not much. I haven't used those in a long time, but if you wanted, buy some gasket sheet and make your own.

I'm getting a rattling noise on the front passenger side and I think it might be the alignment of the top hat, or I was thinking that I need this since my old one broke.

- I'm curious about this picture right here. After you line up the triangle facing out torwards the hub and torque the nut down, how much play will the top hat have as far as haveing a spining motion?

I would check the top hat first. I had to replace one awhile back because of the same. When I pressed down on that corner of the car, there was some movement in the rubber portion.

The top hat will spin 360 deg in the front, so the only thing that needs to be lined up are the triangle on the upper perch with the lower bolts. The placement of the top hat does not matter until you have it in the car.

You need that part. I was talking about the gasket like part that was a few pictures below that one. Try putting some grease on it.

Thanks Eric. Yeah, by your post I figured you were talking about that thin gasket. I'll order the seat thrust today.
