clunking caused by coilover sleeves?

I picked up a nx dirt cheap, got her runnin all nice like, but theres this annoying clunk when i'm turning the wheel, at first i figured it was something with the suspension, possibly a cv axle, anyways, jack up the car and pull the wheel off, and all the bushings have been replaced along with both axles look brand spankin new. I did notice, the car is slammed on coilover sleeve things, which i have no experience with, and I noticed that the spring sits loosly betweel the upper and lower mount of the shock when the car is in the air, is that normal? I can shake it around and everything?? I'm pretty sure that's my problem but i just want to see if thats normal at all?

It's normal, but the noise is because the sleeve isn't sitting on a flat surface.
