It's not a matter of making it to the carolinas. If you can organize 6 people around your area to do a beam bending party then it can be done. Im trying to organize one around the VA/Maryland area. If you are willing to drive up then you could join ares. Come on people we need a location.

sljdemon - If you get a group going in the Carolinas, I'd be willing to drive out from TN and join. Let me know.

Just FYI, I drove 700 miles, one way, to Maryland to get this done. That was over a year ago (back when gas was still a bit pricey). I have seen 2 failed attempts at getting a beam bending party going because people don't want to drive to get this done. Be willing to drive because if you guys don't get this done now you will never have it done. It would be foolish to miss out on this because it really does make the car drive much better.

I can't believe people spend thousands of $$ on coil overs and camber plates and bushings and sway bars but aren't willing to spend a day and $200+ for the best handling mod that you can make on a B14.
Spread the word to some SE owners. It doesn't have to be an SE-R.

I totally agree. I would actually be willing to drive over 2-3 hours to have it done just would prefer to keep it to that being that school starts up in a week. If people dont start chiming in with interest I am going to start threads in different sections of the forum and on other forums if necessary.

Your B14 and even the B15 doesn't have a prayer of handling good near the limit with out this mod. My wife noticed the change just driving around town in a spirited but not crazy at all manner.

I know Steve..preaching to the choir. I had to turn down the last beam bending party partly because of timing and funding. Im ready to go now. I've got the money set aside. Im just grateful your still willing to do it. Hopefully other members will take your advice and start chiming in with interest.

Is anyone willing to host/organize in the mid-Atlantic region? If you guys are willing to drive out to Nashville, TN, I'd be willing to do it. Let me know.

Nashville is a nice central location. I've already got a bent beam, but if it were close enough, I'd get the beam bent in my beater.

I'd be up for that, if the interest is there. I have a big enough garage.

Thanks for the reply Steve... it looks like there are a few of us in Florida who are interested in setting something up for when the weather cools down a little. Florida can be a nice place to escape from the snow.

Nashville is a little too far for me with school. I have to be able to drive to the location and back in one day. Nashville is not that type of drive. The only way I could do that is if the event happened over a holiday when I have more time off but more than likely people wont do that. Is there anybody in VA that can host? I'll drive anywhere in VA, Maryland, WV, even a little ways into NC.

I started a thread in the Mid-Atlantic section to try and encourage some people to chime in.

I looked and only the East Section has a thread. It's never going to happen if someone doesn't take initiative and post a thread in the proper section of the forum.
