Install problem Progress Rear SB

My set up is Hyperco Gen. II with motivational CSK. I tried to install
rear bar AND I did install per instructions, but with the L bracket installed as per the diagram (with the top of the L up), even if I shorten the hemi link all the way, it's still too long to get it to fit in ?????
Is there some tick I don't k now about ? HELP !

Are the brackets installed properly?

Look at these pics for the wrong way to do it. It's a pretty common mistake.

Eric identified the problem in post #3.

(And it's heim, not hemi )

yes I reviewed that one before my install attempt. Just not enough room from bare end to bolt on trailing arm
