Falken Ziex 912 - Buyer Beware

Recently got to try out the Falken 912s that I've had on my car for about a year in some winter weather. Let me just say these tires are a joke for any amount of snow. It's a real challenge just to get out of a parking spot. Wheels spin from a start no matter how easy you let the clutch out. Car slides all over the place and almost caused me to have a wreck. By far the worst tire I've ever had for the snow.

They really should just call these a summer tire rather than all-season. The Falken 512s that I used to have, while not great, did far better in winter weather. Tread wear on both of these though doesn't seem to be very good.

Agreed, the 912's are absolute GARBAGE in the winter. They slide like ice on ice.

Don't forget, all season actually means no season! Snow tires in the winter and summer tires the other 3 seasons FTW!

Ran a set of these recently and the tread wore out quickly.
