Can't say; I'm not familiar with "Spec V" inserts. But I can tell you that the technology of the 8611s and 8610s are about the same, are both "re-valvable", and that the 8610s also went to the "-RACE" part numbers at the same time...

HAHAHA I was just about to put heim joints in to replace my tie rod ends... and that picture appears!

What size did you end up using... and did you modify a set of stock tie rod ends or build a complete piece.. I thing Im just going to Manichean a piece instead of messing with the stock part....

IT's a left handed heim joint, 5/8" I think (could be 1/2"), with a shoulder bolt. You can buy a shorter bolt than I did, I thought I would have to space it further down that I actually did, there's no good reason to have all those spacers below the rod end except that shoulder bolts are expensive. The spacers I bought from a circle track store. You need to make a female to female coupler that connects the stock tie rod to the left handed heim joint. You will have to cut the stock tie tod, so it's not an easily reversable mod.

The picture should tell you everything you need to know......except how to spell 'machine'
