How to remove wheel spacers

So, on my 91 SER thats turn into my racer, I have come across some wheel spacers that the previous owner had installed on the car. They have like a nut that threaded over the original stud and into the spacer. It sits flush in the spacer. How do i go about removing this, i need it off so i can replace the studs with 1.5 thread studs.

Pics aren't working. Why are you changing thread pitch?

ok, try these links, i am changing thread pitch becasue i race this car and my series requires the use of 1 " O.D. lug nuts, and they are like $5 a piece, so id rather change them to standard thread

I've never seen anything like that before. Worst case scenario, you could probably chisel them out like you would the break-off bolts on an ign lock.

What sanctioning body requires those? I've never heard of a rule like that.

It looks like you need a spanner wrench. It's got two little studs in it, some times 4.
