This may or may not help.

The two (2) conventional springs that are of excellent quality and will lower your car approximately 1" are Hyperco's (Hypercoil) or Road Magnets (RM's).

You could find the Hyperco's in the Classifieds pre-owned for about 300'ish. And they sell very, very quickly.

Road Magnets are still available far as I know.

Excellent info

I was one click away from ordering H&R springs

Road magnet info thread is old.
Sent email to robchaos18@hotmail.com and hopefully he still has it.

so is this spring information still current or we now have other options besides Raod Magnet and Hypercoil?

Nope, RM and Hypercoils are still considered THE best springs for these cars.

That is exactly why I build that thread in the first place. 60,000 views later and it is still saving folks from mistakes.

I last updated the thread on 02/18/2011, which is the first line in the thread. It is definitely current. There is nothing that is "way off" or going to mislead anyone. Road Magnet and Hypercoil are definitely the only conventional springs that I recommend. There are a few others that you can use, but you must purchase or make CSK's in order to use them (all info in the Suspension Thread).

Some of the links are apparently old and need to be updated. I know of at least one picture that is incorrect and needs to be changed. I should update the info on the K-Sport coilovers, that is pretty old. I'll get another update done in another couple months. And then six months after that, and then six months after that....

Keep in mind, that Suspension Thread prints out at 81-pages (). It is basically a book that needs constant revisions. Took me nearly a year to get it to it's first state of "temporarily done." I dare say that there is no other thread that is quite like it. Or as much of a pain-in-the-ass to keep current.

Enjoy the thread. Glad it is still helping folks out.
