CV Joint race installation

folks,
Very quick, but urgent question, related to the inner CV joint reassembly (P11 G20). Which way does the bearing cage go in relation to the housing? I noticed that one side is tappered one side is wider. Does the wider side go towards the housing or towards the boot?

Of course, like a dummy, I didn't mark them or pay close attention when I took it apart.

TIA.

I don't have the P11 FSM on this computer, but the B14 manual doesn't show which direction the cage goes. Guessing from the pictures, the tapered end goes toward the boot. If the P11 is the same, the B14 has an internal snap ring on the boot side and an external on the spline side. Not having torn one of these apart, it looks like the snap ring fits in the tapered part.
