help with routing 3" exhaust

guys i was wondering if anyone has attempted to run the exhaust piping differently than the stock location i want to run the piping straight down the middle and with a slight bend to the rear section that would eliminate alot of bends and look alot cleaner so my question is does anyone have this setup or anything similar? pictures please if so...

btw i live in so. cal and the car is not daily driven anymore so crazy bumps are no problem...

thanks

greg

I wouldn't run that exhaust pipe under the fuel tank.

I have a 3" side exit, it hits on everything, but it's 3", short, and sounds nice. Didn't have to deal w/routing much either... I can get some pics if you want...

I want to see where you routed the piping. Where does it exit? passenger side behind door?

Only the 90 degree is, they used the "crush bending" machine to do a little kink on the exit so that the exhaust wasn't so close to the body.
I bought most of the pieces, but the shops charge for labor and misc parts was only $100.
