6 puck advice...

Well, before I go and throw in my 6 puck I want to know what I should do to prevent any other problems. My brother told me to do new motor mounts and inserts. That is #1 on my plan of ''to-do's'' since one of my mounts are taking a sh*t. Anything else I should do? I know quite a few of you run the ACT 6 puck so let me know what you did to get your motor ready for the extra grip!

maybe get a new clutch cable for sh*ts if yours is older, possibly lube it (which I need to do )

just remember to baby it and break it in correctly to resist abnormal wear on the disc.

just go front and rear motor mounts to aid front to back motion. I have all prothanes and it tends to get annoying if your idle is set too low.

Ahh, forgot about clutch cable! Yes, I need to purchase a new one. I don't think the old crusty 138K cable will like a HD PP. I try to put at least a few hundred on the clutch before going out and beating it up. I heard of some guys doing 100 miles and then punching it. I figured at least 300 miles would be good. I normally hear 500 miles for the break in period. I hear prothanes are very nice but what about the polyurethanes? Go Fast Depot has a nice deal going on for the prothanes so it is looking very good. Maybe I should weld the tranny case while the tranny is out of the car to give a little extra strength? I know the 6 puck is aggressive as hell so just trying to think of ideas.
